UPDATE

First things first, I just leaked a few new things from the MMMixtape onto the Myspace (go ahead and add that shit if you're late) so go ahead and check those out. I've said it before, but this time i mean it, the albums dropping real soon (no dr.dre)

Now onto the show. Got nothing but positive feedback and it was great being up there. Video footage on the way, and hopefully those pictures too.

GotdioN Live @ Expo May 21st

Yeah, that's right! It says "GOTDION" on that flyer. I've got my first live performance people. I'm not gonna lie, i'm a little nervous.

They were letting me be a part of it without ever hearing any of my music, so I was a little worried that my stuff wouldn't fit in with the scene... but once they heard the demo, they were supposedly impressed enough to bump me from the 2nd one up to the end because they want to finish with a bang. So, that's good right?

Unfortunately, I only have 2 days off between now and then, so I've gotta commit all of my free time to getting the mix for my set ready and practicing. That means the mixtape probably won't be up until early June. It's ok, we can cry together haha

So if you're gonna be in the DC area on Thursday May 21st, stop by the Expo Lounge and don't plan on leaving before 1AM. WISH ME LUCK!

Corinne Stevie. Where do you even start? Repping Miami Florida, she's recently been tearing up the scene in ATL. If she's not creating music, she's cooking up a new art peice. Personally, I find the her creativity and personailty surprising and refreshing. Corinne Stevie is simply one of those eccentricities where you have to let the work speak for itself.

The Mighty Morphin Mixtape...?

So my current project in progress is entitled GotdioN's Mighty Morphin' Mixtape volume 1. On the surface it's like any other GotdioN Mixtape with most of the usual guests. But then I figured, hey, lets all be a power ranger haha. FACE IT . The babies from the late 80's are starting to make some noise. The 90s are the new retro and they were sick, they were us, and luckily the people I work with have landed me in the middle of a movement where it could totally work if I do it right. All 5 (or 6, ooo aaaah) of the main featured artists on this have completely different approaches, and when you put it all together it's beautiful.

Hopefully the delivery lives up to the concept. If not, there's always volume 2.
